Housesitting in Switzerland

Dipping our paws into Lake Geneva

It’s a sunny, cheerful spring afternoon,

and we were all wanting to get out for some fresh air.

Where could we go?

The squire had a light bulb moment

Saying, “Why don’t we go down to the lake“,

It was a place, we had not visited since arriving in Aubonne.

LET’S GO!

Fudge, the bravest of the three of us, having a rest and drying out in the sun!.

Time to check out the small village just down the road, a different looking Chapel.

Book exchange in the sun, lovely idea.  One that Spain does on a regular basis!

If you happened to be able to buy a bottle from this harvest grown on very expensive land, you would definitely sip it VERY slowly.  Surprisingly, there are quite a few vineyards around this area.

Félicité!

    1. Thanks, Nilla, we will. Just came back from a walk, love these streets with the old character buildings. The hills are perfect for walking off a few Easter treats 🙂 Suz

  1. Beautiful scenery! A walk by or around a lake seems like the perfect thing to do on a sunny spring day. Wish we had more days like that here… California must be the wettest state this winter. 🙂

    1. Thanks Ritu, funny at the moment I would love a day of rain. I am a bit overwhelmed with the heat in Turkey at the moment!

            1. Though, if it was sunny would you be inclined to stay indoors writing? Miserable weather and writing – a bit like strawberries and cream 🙂

            1. Thanks, Carol, we are enjoying the lifestyle. It is becoming very popular and the competition is fierce 🙂 Slight exaggeration!

                1. Sometimes, then sometimes it is very casual, other times it feels like we are being forensically taken apart bit by bit 🙂 90 percent of people are great and no hassle.

                    1. Absolutely and we never mind questions been asked and we much prefer that we are asked. We have quite a few excellent references and we are good at what we do. Helps reassure homeowners.
