Hi everyone,
Let’s have a touch of nostalgia
With a look back to 2015,
To show you a few postcards from France.
If I had known most of you back then, I would have added;
“Wish you were here”.

Beautiful postcards …. Lyon is my favorite city in France because of the food. I am planning to visit Bordeaux hopefully next year. Thanks for the inspiration.

Lovely photos. Bordeaux and Bayonne have been on my list for a while.

I know they have been. Maybe, time to rectify that? Research for your next book.

I’m planning a visit to France next year, but I don’t know whether to go to Bordeaux or Guedelon. They’re on opposite sides of the country, so I can’t do both.

Pros and cons list and eliminate. I will have to google Guedelon as I have not heard of it. Weather wise, north west is always best?

Guedelon as a destination seems like a grand choice as it has a castle currently under construction near Treigny. Bordeaux can be overly touristy.

It’s the castle I want to see, but I’d need to find other things there to fill my time. If I go to Bordeaux there are lots of places around there that I’d like to visit.
I’ll start doing some proper research into the trip next month.

Love your postcards, and I adore that flower sculpture. It’s very like a piece of enamel work I had once.

Sonia, I think it was made out of metal if my memory serves me correctly. It was certainly a “Wow” moment as we turned the corner! I love seeing sculptures around cities.
