2020 Photo Challenge #31
It’s winter in my part of the world, equating to not having much bold colour around my neck of the woods, especially in the natural world. I needed to delve into my archives and back to previous seasons. They were required to participate in Jude’s latest photo challenge, which is all about colour and contrasting colour. There is nothing quite like bold colour combinations to brighten up my visual world and, not least, to lighten my shades of winter blues and greys.
Without further fluffing around, here are a few.
Spring is just around the corner.

Are you up for a challenge? If so, head over to Jude’s blog and view her take on contrasting colours and other bloggers’ contributions from around the world.
Jude’s 2020 Photo Challenge #31
Capture a scene with strong contrasting colours. Try using a simple composition so they are most effective, often some type of pattern arrangement works best. To find out more head on over to HERE
Lovely fluffing and even more lovely photos! Just perfect for the challenge Suz.

Thanks Su. It has been a beautiful sunny day and what seemed like half of Tauranga was out walking with me this morning 🙂

Sounds great. The mist has just lifted here and I’m thinking a walk might be nice.

You’re colours are beautiful, Suzanne. They do make me a bit sad. If Spring is just around your corner, that means that Fall and Winter are just around ours! I seriously ask for a Summer Do-Over! 😀

Cheers Donna, no you can’t have a Sumer Do-Over as you know what that will mean for us 😉 All joking aside there is an upside to winter, after a hot summer it’s lovely to have cosy days or nights inside.

Thanks Jude, they are a lovely combination. After writing this up and returning home from my walk, I noticed how glorious the Rhododendrons and Camillas were looking. Go figure 🙂

If I get around to it, and if I remember, I will play with saturation, Suzanne. I’m normally only used to it in terms of rain. 🙂 🙂

It’s also called re-editing older photos 🙂 Go on then be a dare-devil and become a lover of saturation and not the wet variety!
