I have this thing about stones with holes through the middle. Hag stones is one name for them here. Love to wander a good beach. Sadly its been a while here… love the boulders mind you
It is addictive collecting beach items ๐ . I once had a thing about driftwood. West coast beaches are the best for an array of stones and driftwood.
I LOVED finding those Moeraki Boulders when we were looking around NZ, we literally stumbled upon them out of curiosity on a wild and windy day. I also love your stone hearts. Stay well over there, note you may have more restrictions in place. x
I believe you about the wild and windy weather! Amazing beach. Yes, back to level 2 and level 3 in Auckland. Back to long lines at the supermarket. As I am grocery shopping for two households it’s time consuming to say the least! You take care too x
I didn’t keep all as we lived in our motorhome then. I did however keep stones that looked like an egg and sat perfectly on a flattish stone with a groove in it. Stone collecting could become quite addictive I reckon ๐
I love that boulder beach.. Such interesting rock.. ๐

The hearts are rather lovely, but I like the reflected boulders more.

I think so! I keep thinking that I should start divesting myself of stuff now, so that it isn’t too much of a shock when we do finally downsize.
