Let there be silence

Isn’t silence a state most of us crave at some stage of our day?

Early morning walks are my sanctuary for appreciating those relatively silent moments and a still mind. Capturing that moment with a bird for company is an added bonus. Here’s a spoonbill that inspired a few words from me and a desire to learn more about forming a Haiku.

A silent low tide.

A bird walks into the water,

Splash! Silence again.

    1. Yes, you are right, Eilene, regarding our every day noises of modern life are jarring. I have to walk via noisy traffic so the quieter parts are so enjoyable. Though leaving at sunrise during the weekend is blissfully quieter.
