As you know, I enjoy a long walk alongside an Estuary or the ocean, and over the last few years, mileage has increased remarkably, and so has my portfolio of images.
It certainly has been a while since I participated in a photo challenge. After viewing inspiring images from various bloggers I follow and the Queen of Squares, Becky, over at beckybofwinchester.com, I get to join in the fun.

Beautiful photos, Suzanne. We have a lot of white swans where I live but not black swans and pukekos.

Aw, those cygnets are so gorgeous. The swamphen has such incredible feet! Even the chick’s are enormous.

Their feet are huge and the majority of the time they do look so awkward when walking. I enjoy seeing them when biking or walking along the waterways.

I have been chased by a few birds mostly in Australia though not swans as of yet. If I hang around longer enough I am sure it will happen.

I’m very wary of them these days. I love watching “our” swans in the canal, but I don’t get too close.
