Updated February 2021
We are still enjoying life at a slow pace along it’s curvy path. Weekly blood tests etc for the Squire mean our world is centred around where we live and a bit further down the road. We try to make the most of every day, as most people I know do.
A saying I came across the other day, that made me smile;
To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow – Audrey Hepburn
As from January 2019, we are now no longer full-time nomads. Due to the Squire being diagnosed as having Bone Marrow cancer [Primary Myelofibrosis], we have had to reevaluate our life.
To reflect this and our new home back in New Zealand, a change of blog title was needed. The result is the birth of “Life at No.22” with the inclusion of Globalhousesitterx2 posts.
What will I write about now?
My blog will still reflect me, the Squire and my quirky personality. I will endeavour to include more about New Zealand and road trips. I definitely will be reminiscing about our travels beyond our backyard, musings about life in general, tramping [hikes], photography and whatever else takes my fancy.
Hopefully, my posts will make you think, and most of all, encourage you to do more of what makes you smile. Perhaps to travel more, take up housesitting then take a trip down to visit New Zealand!
Hello, 2019 – We CANcer vive!
P.S. Can you tell I do not like having my photograph taken? Must get a few new photos of myself and the Squire!
