Thanks, Jo, and yes, it is a bit spooky and surreal. I have a few of those types of images due to overexposure and a relook at them to see what I could do to make them look more arty.
Thanks Anabel and yes the swing image reminds me of younger years and a few beyond that. That’s good that you managed to not catch John’s cold. My cold is on the final straight heading for the finish line. Fingers crossed as I have training to do and life in general.
These are wonderful. Flying free and Illusion just captivating.

Thanks very much, Eilene. I enjoy black and white photography as they make the subjects stand out more than in colour.

Such a good range. B/W is so right when the form is more important than the colours

Thanks, Derrick, and yes, you’re right. The subject is highlighted more than the whole image.

Love your black and white world, Suzanne! Those figures in Illusion are quite spooky- in a good way!

Thanks very much, Cathy. A bit of fun looking through and sorting images while trying to rid myself of another heavy cold! Must be winter 😉

These are all brilliant. I don’t do enough black and white photography, but I also do far more nature photos which aren’t as suited to B&W.

Thanks Jude and yes you’re right flowers wouldn’t have the same impact as other objects. Though perhaps white flowers alongside a moon lit path 🙂

That opening image is tremendous. Brings back childhood memories. Hope the cold lifts soon. john has just had one, but miraculously I didn’t catch it.
