Admiring from a distance is advisable and it’s mother wouldn’t let you get too close. They can get quite stroppy.

Ah, he looks so sweet, such a lovely photo. But having come close to Cape fur seals I have to wonder about the smell.

With all the fish eating they aren’t going to be smelling like roses. Still cute, though the mother wasn’t so much. Looked a tad grumpy!
