It’s Saturday—early evening.
The sun was disappearing fast, as was the wine. His food preparation was completed, leaving a lingering sizzling aroma as she relaxed on the deckchair.
The wine and the day’s heat gave her a radiant glow like the sunset. Joining her with a mischievous grin, declaring, “Be back in a minute”. They both roared with laughter.
The first of many memorable moments.

It is fun and I’ve still got my trainer wheels on. The organiser/s have taken a break so I have taken the liberty of still doing it. https://carrotranch.com/2024/04/09/april-9-story-challenge-in-99-words/

Haha, Les went to buy some chips to go with the steak. He wasn’t sure how to cook them easier to go around the corner to the Fish & Chip shop. It was hilarious. I was impressed.
