Crossrail Place Roof Garden, London #GeometricJanuary

On a drizzly day, not unusual for London, we were searching for cover while walking around Canary Wharf; then, luckily, we came across the Crossrail Place Roof Garden, which was holding an exhibition of Clare Newton’s; it had apparently been drawing quite a few people to the ‘Spirit of Legends’ installation, including us.

The art was so captivating, and it felt more special having spoken with the artist, who shared more information than what was on the boards. Plus, she obligingly lets us take a photo with her, as you do sometimes.

We were privileged, and it was a fun day during the late summer of 2016.
