When I started to think about what images I would include in this post, I realised how much of what we see in our lives is formed by boxes and lines. We literally follow lines wherever we go.
Here are a few lasting lines and squares that have stood out.

I have been “mucking around” with a few turning them into Black and White. I’m a fan of that colour combination.

I always find it so interesting when you look for something and it starts appearing everywhere. There were some beautiful photographs in that collection – especially looking up through that building.

I am compelled (!) to look around me these days. I love, love, love seeing designs and patterns others may miss. I particularly enjoy finding mandalas in nature and in manmade objects. Even a drain is a thing of interest because of its shape. Denyse #mlstl

I love all these pictures. But totally fascinated by the NZ Cabbage tree. Then stunned by the dock and water picture. Your skill continues to amaze me.

Thanks, Jennifer. Us kiwis have a love hate relationship with the cabbage tree. Mainly due to it’s propensity of dropping leaves most days. I’m one of the folk when loves it’s form and especially when in flower.

And that’s why we’re having a hard time “staying in line”. 🙂 When you look around, there are indeed a lot of lines. It keeps order in a chaotic world.
