Grandad’s Patch

Grandad Ballard became a market gardener when he was given the opportunity to buy fertile land in Gisborne after the war. With Nana's helping hands they grew an abundance of kumara.

No traffic woes cycling to basketball this morning, winning💙 Tauranga - Papamoa - Maketu Beach and return.  82kms.  Smashed it.  Epic ride💙 Quintessentially summer days of years gone by💙 Appreciation of a calm and sunny day💙 It was in part a challenging cycling summer, from sunny days to recent stormy weather. A double shot on the rocks ... gets this girl moving on a hot humid day💛
